About You
- Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree from an ABET accredited program.
- 9+ years of professional fire protection engineering experience, acting as the engineer of record or responsible in charge of design projects.
- Registered Fire Protection PE required.
- Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Supervisory experience including staffing, performance management, and training.
- Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering.
- Familiarity with the International Code Council (ICC), NFPA 101, NFPA 13, and NFPA 72.
- NICET certification in Water-Based System Layout, Fire Alarm Systems, or Special Hazards Systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, and military standards.
- Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office skills.
