Summary
ZT Systems is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Secaucus, NJ. The role involves leading the measurement and analysis of manufacturing processes, developing processes and tooling, and driving continuous improvements in the factory.
About the Role
As a Sr Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for new product introduction, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your tasks will include conducting DFM reviews, interfacing with engineering teams, designing manufacturing processes, and analyzing production metrics to identify improvement opportunities. You will also support factory operations by resolving interruptions and managing project schedules and budgets.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with factory simulation software, FlexSim preferred.
- Analytical skills, including the ability to mine data to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
