Summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Material Excellence Engineer LCM to lead global implementation of critical material projects that enhance reliability, innovation, and sustainability across manufacturing processes and plants worldwide.
About the Role
The Senior Material Excellence Engineer LCM will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance, implement standard supply chain and logistics processes, lead process improvement projects involving new materials or technologies, develop and monitor KPIs, optimize resource utilization, drive organizational change through effective change management, identify and mitigate risks, assess and implement local changes based on global strategies, and continuously analyze manufacturing performance to support cost reduction and process robustness. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work across a global network with internal and external partners.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years relevant experience or advanced degree with 4+ years experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical environment
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP guidelines and Health Authority regulations (EMA, FDA, etc.)
- Project management skills with ability to interface cross-functionally
- Understanding of drug development, manufacturing processes, and submission requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a matrixed team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks with problem resolution
Preferred:
- Experience with introduction of biological products to manufacturing sites
- Experience in cell or gene therapy or related materials
