Summary
West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Sr Molding Process Engineer to join their team in Tempe, AZ. The role involves supporting the process engineering/operations group by evaluating and implementing new equipment and process improvements.
About the Role
As a Sr Molding Process Engineer, you will lead the installation and validation of new equipment, develop technical reports and protocols, ensure quality of materials, and provide project leadership for materials/process related projects. You will also interact with various departments to implement statistically established studies for process improvements and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Plastics or equivalent industrial experience with 8+ years of Injection Molding Engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering.
Preferred:
- Complete working knowledge of all molding processes and associated tooling.
- In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Experience in writing and executing validation protocols and reports.
- Manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC Lean Certification preferred.
