Summary
MetroStar is seeking a Sr. Platform Developer to join their team in Washington, DC. The role involves providing subject matter expertise in development to impact the federal government.
About the Role
As a Senior Platform Developer, you will provide expertise in development, research and implement technologies related to Kubernetes and containerization, and work on optimizing core platform functions. Daily collaboration with the team and customers is essential.
About You
Required:
- 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer.
- 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD Automation.
- Experience with .NET, Java, Python, and Go, and working in a DevSecOps environment.
- Experience with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
- Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.).
- A bachelor's degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to work in Washington, DC on client-site 2-3 days per week.
