About the Role
As a Sr Polysomnographic Technologist, you will perform advanced duties such as scoring sleep studies, preparing preliminary reports for physician interpretation, and conducting complex polysomnography procedures. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, mentor other technologists, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for required credentials.
- Three years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist in a Sleep Disorders laboratory/center.
- RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographer Technologist (BRPT) OR RRT-SDS - Registered Respiratory Therapist Sleep Disorder Specialty (NBRC).
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in using Hospital/Sleep Study Information Systems and Office software.
