About the Role
As a Senior Principal Scientist, you will provide scientific and operational leadership for a team delivering advanced in vitro models and screening-ready systems. Your responsibilities will include guiding the design and optimization of cellular models, collaborating with therapeutic area scientists, and implementing emerging technologies to enhance discovery platforms.
About You
Required:
- Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) with 3 years of directly related experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience.
Preferred:
- Doctorate degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharma, including leadership of scientific teams.
- Strong track record in complex in vitro model development and high-throughput screening.
- Experience with high-content imaging and transcriptional assay readouts.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with viral vector systems for gene delivery.
- Experience in leading or mentoring scientists.
- Familiarity with data-driven discovery approaches.
