Summary
Astrion is seeking a Sr Seeker Engineer to join their team in Suitland, MD. The role involves supporting the development of RF seeker systems for simulations to government customers.
About the Role
As a Sr Seeker Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and collaborating with a team to design and develop simulation solutions. Your tasks will include evaluating critical design points, documenting RF sensor operations, implementing signal processing algorithms, and leading a small cross-functional team as a technical project lead.
About You
Required:
- US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- 10-12 years of experience in RF sensor systems or electronic warfare systems.
- Fundamental knowledge of RF signal processing techniques.
- Proficiency in MATLAB for modeling and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience guiding a small team in a technical project lead capacity.
Preferred:
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience in RF system modeling and data analysis.
- Understanding of RF seeker hardware and antenna design.
- Experience with digital signal processing and digital beam forming.
- Familiarity with electronic attack and protection techniques.
- Experience with verification and validation processes for modeling and simulation.
- Strong skills in Matlab, Python, and C++.
