Pacific Life is seeking a Sr Systems Administrator I to join their enterprise Endpoint Engineering team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. The role involves managing endpoint operational support activities and driving initiatives for consistent, performant, and secure end-user device management.

About the Role

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will partner across the organization to resolve issues related to client computing and endpoint technology solutions. You will manage the Endpoint Engineering support queue, act as a point of escalation for technical issues, and develop operational metrics related to endpoint health and compliance. Additionally, you will assist and mentor teammates and collaborate with Security teams to track and resolve risk issues.

About You

Required:

4+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on endpoint engineering.
4+ years of experience supporting modern endpoint management platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Jamf).
Strong understanding of Microsoft Modern Workplace concepts and modern endpoint management in cloud and hybrid environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred:

Deep technical expertise in troubleshooting complex endpoint issues.
Experience leading operationally focused projects in client computing environments.
Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot and post-provisioning automation.
Experience managing macOS devices using Jamf and Apple Business Manager.
Experience developing automation through scripting or code-based solutions (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
