About the Role
As a Sr. Telecommunications BIM Lead, you will be responsible for showcasing your Revit expertise while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards. You will use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and manage fully coordinated 3D BIM models across all design disciplines, produce 2D construction drawings, and collaborate closely with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to turn design intent into reality.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 8 years of BIM design experience
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
- Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- At least 6 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience
- Understanding of clean room and data center environments
- Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems
- Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV)
- Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology
