Summary
Qcells North America is seeking a Sr. Accounting Associate to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves supporting the residential renewable energy business with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
About the Role
As a Sr. Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for accurately inputting financial transactions, processing accounts payable and receivable, managing sales tax filings, reconciling bank statements, executing month-end closing tasks, assisting with audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree with 5+ years professional work experience or a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with 3+ years of professional work experience.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and technical accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with NetSuite.
