Summary
Apple is seeking a Sr. Audio Software Engineer for their Vision Products Group (VPG) to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves investigating and defining architectures for Spatial Audio and leading the development of those features.
About the Role
As a Senior Audio Software Engineer, you will collaborate across Apple to bring Spatial Audio architectures to life, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the innovative audio experiences of the Apple Vision Pro.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field, and a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Design Patterns that scale.
- Proven focus on Test Drive Development and quality documentation.
- Experience working in Audio Architectures and common Digital Signal Processing for audio.
- Understanding of software optimization tools and techniques.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Apple developer ecosystem, including Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode.
- Proven track record of technical leadership.
- AudioUnit plugin development experience.
- Embedded software experience.
