About the Role
As a Sr. Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of Bigeye's data observability platform. Your tasks will include designing product solutions, contributing to the engineering platform, and collaborating with product managers and designers to implement effective solutions. You will work with technologies such as Java, MySQL, Python, and AWS.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Java.
- Experience working within a Service Oriented Architecture.
- Experience building or working with databases, ETL tools, BI tools, etc.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting a user-facing product.
- Proven track record of solving pressing customer problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and straightforward communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with REST APIs, RabbitMQ, Protobuf, Datadog, Docker.
- Familiarity with DataOps principles.
