About the Role
As a Sr. Bridge Engineer III, you will serve in a Lead Engineer role, responsible for performing structural load calculations, overseeing geometric layout and quantity development, and checking design calculations and construction cost estimates produced by other engineers. You will work on various bridge projects, including precast concrete and steel structures, and supervise Junior Engineers while interacting frequently with clients.
About You
Required:
- BSCE required; MSCE in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Active Virginia PE licensure required.
- 10+ years of bridge design experience required.
Preferred:
- VDOT project experience strongly preferred.
- Prior Supervisory experience (team, office, etc.) a plus.
- Experience with Bridge Inspection is a plus, but not required.
