ELLKAY is seeking a Sr. Cloud Software Engineer to join their team in Elmwood Park, NJ. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions for healthcare integrations.
About the Role
As a Sr. Cloud Software Engineer, you will focus on building cloud-native applications and infrastructure that support healthcare integrations, including EHR and Acute Care systems. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable applications, managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing technical leadership to development teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C#, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD tools.
Preferred:
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience with serverless architectures and event streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud strategies.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
