About the Role
As a Sr. Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects across North America, collaborating with various teams to enhance JBPCO's capabilities in machine control architecture, automation, and safety. You will also lead the development of control system standards and provide technical support and training to plant engineers and technicians.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electrical Controls, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 15+ years of directly related controls engineering experience.
- Expert knowledge of electrical and controls engineering, processes, application, and design.
Preferred:
- Experience programming and troubleshooting Fanuc robots and Rockwell PLCs.
- Proficient with programming software such as Studio5000, FactoryTalk, Kepware and Ignition.
- Visual Basic Programming, Python, structured text and other programming knowledge.
