Summary
HIRECLOUT is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in City of Industry, CA. The role involves shaping how software is built, deployed, monitored, and secured in a well-established consumer products and eCommerce organization.
About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, implement monitoring solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows. You will also architect scalable cloud environments and apply security practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience supporting Linux and Windows environments.
- Hands-on experience with containerized platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Strong programming and automation skills using Python, JavaScript, and/or shell scripting.
- Expert-level experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
- Deep experience with infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, and/or CDK.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, and software-defined networking concepts.
- Experience administering and scaling relational and non-relational databases, including writing and debugging SQL.
- Strong knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, Git-based workflows, and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Exposure to multiple cloud platforms beyond AWS (Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience working in SaaS or high-traffic digital application environments.
- Background supporting cost optimization initiatives in cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with mesh networking or advanced observability patterns.
