About the Role

As a Sr. DoD Scientific Technical Writer, you will collaborate with Program Managers, Engineers, and Operations team members. Your responsibilities include writing various technical documents such as FMECA, FHA, SSPP, QAPP, DVT Procedures, and EQT Procedures. You will also participate in build and test activities, assist in configuration management, and attend meetings to generate minutes. The role requires travel to support events at other facilities.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a technical field.
Minimum of 5+ years of technical writing experience required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience writing DoD documentation required.

Preferred:

Familiarity with optical and mechanical systems.
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence strongly preferred.
Secret Clearance preferred.
