WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Sr. Federal Planner to join their team with the potential to work from various locations including Rancho Cordova, CA. The role involves leading planning projects for DoD clients and providing technical leadership in project management.
About the Role
As a Sr. Federal Planner, you will lead diverse teams in completing complex planning projects for the Department of Defense. Your responsibilities will include managing project graphics, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing master planning documents, and ensuring quality control standards. You will also be involved in client management and administrative tasks, requiring effective communication and multitasking skills.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in planning-level analysis and reporting.
- A current passport and ability to travel a minimum of 30% of the time, including international travel.
- US citizenship due to client requirements.
- Experience leading DoD master planning projects and developing programming documents.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with CAD, ESRI ArcGIS, ArcMap, or other mapping software.
- Strong graphic design and visualization skills.
- Ability to obtain a US-Government issued security clearance.
- Prior experience related to Military Planning.
- Holds a professional certification (PLA, AICP, RA, PE, CNU-A, and/or PMP).
