Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Sr. Manager, Clinical Science, Cardiopulmonary to join their team in multiple locations including Raritan and Titusville, NJ, and Spring House and Horsham, PA. The role focuses on clinical strategy development and execution for complex compound programs in the cardiopulmonary therapeutic area.
About the Role
The Clinical Scientist will contribute scientifically to cross-functional clinical teams developing molecular entities, support preparation of clinical development plans and trial protocols, assist with trial setup, monitoring, and clinical study report completion. Responsibilities include evaluating adverse events, supporting regulatory affairs with reporting and strategy, interpreting and reporting product research results, data review, leading cross-functional teams, reviewing medical literature, managing contracts, assessing medical publications, and reviewing company advertising and promotion.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 8 years of clinical research and development experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Significant experience managing and supervising clinical trials, medical and data monitoring clinical research programs.
- Previous Clinical Scientist experience or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as MS, RN, RD, PhD, or PharmD.
- Experience in cardiovascular or metabolic product development and cross-company alliances.
