Summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Sr. Manager, Clinical Science, Cardiopulmonary to join their team in Raritan, NJ or other specified locations. The role focuses on clinical strategy development and execution for complex compound programs in cardiopulmonary therapeutic areas.
About the Role
The Clinical Scientist will contribute scientifically to cross-functional clinical teams developing molecular entities, support clinical development plans, develop clinical trial protocols and materials, coordinate clinical study reports, assist in regulatory filings, evaluate adverse events, support regulatory strategies, lead or participate in cross-functional teams, review medical literature, and may lead contract execution and assess medical publications and company advertising.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred, e.g., MS, RN, RD, PhD, PharmD).
- At least 8 years of clinical research and development experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Significant experience managing and supervising clinical trials, medical and data monitoring clinical research programs.
- Previous Clinical Scientist experience or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in cardiovascular or metabolic product development and cross-company alliances.
