- 5+ years of engineering management experience, preferably leading teams building distributed systems.
- Strong technical background with experience designing, building, and operating scalable streaming systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed system architecture and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
- Strong people management skills with a focus on team development and mentorship.
- Experience with strongly-typed, object-oriented languages (e.g., C++, Java, C#, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in C++ applications, especially with modern CMake.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Graphite, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Prior leadership in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
