Summary
Alcon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Equipment and Controls to lead Engineering support for production at their Manufacturing Facility in Johns Creek, GA. The role focuses on improving and implementing production processes for efficient mass production.
About the Role
As a Sr. Manager, Equipment and Controls, you will strategize and manage the operating budget, provide strategic direction for growth, initiate improvement plans, engage with teams, develop career plans, promote collaboration, coordinate with other sites, design production operations, conduct tests, and ensure compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Preferred:
- Experience in high volume and highly automated production operations, preferably in the medical devices or semiconductor industry.
- In-depth understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and managing CAPEX.
- Good understanding of ISO13485, cGMP/GDP & HSE/ISO14001 practices.
- Supervisory, management, and leadership skills.
