Proofpoint is seeking a Sr. Named Account Manager based in Illinois to join their Named Accounts organization, focusing on protecting sensitive data for large enterprises.
About the Role
As a Sr. Named Account Manager, you will establish strong business relationships at the executive level, conduct advanced solution selling, and coordinate resources within accounts. Your responsibilities include penetrating new accounts, expanding presence with existing customers, partnering with the Channel organization, and collaborating with the Sales Engineering team to deliver product demos and proof of concept programs.
About You
Required:
At least 3 years of experience in a field sales role selling to large enterprise organizations.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
Self-starter who can work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred:
Experience selling Enterprise Security or Information Technology products.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
BA/BS or equivalent.
