About the Role
As a Sr. Network Engineer (Cellular SME), you will be responsible for working with advanced network technologies, including Arista fabric switching (VxLAN/EBGP) and cross-platform solutions such as Versa/Fortinet (SD-WAN) and Juniper (Wi-Fi). Your tasks will include creating runbooks, receiving escalations from L1 support, identifying automation opportunities, and developing reporting. This is a contract role with a duration of 6+ months, with the possibility of extension.
About You
Required:
- 7+ to 10 years of experience in network engineering.
- Advanced experience with Arista fabric switching technologies (VxLAN/EBGP).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Cross-platform experience with Versa/Fortinet (SD-WAN), Juniper (Wi-Fi), Forescout eyeSight/Segment (NAC), and/or Cradlepoint/cellular.
- Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE certification.
- Arista ACE or equivalent certification.
- SD-WAN certification (Versa or similar).
- ITIL or other relevant process management certification.
