About the Role
As a Sr. Physician Credentialing Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for creating standard operating processes for provider applications, maintaining health plan application packets, developing relationships with health plan contacts, mentoring staff, utilizing the Cactus credentialing database, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. You will also lead special projects and ensure proper safety techniques are followed.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED preferred or 3-5 years of work experience.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Cactus, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and health plan credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment processes.
- Familiarity with licensure requirements and regulations of various agencies.
