BravoTECH is seeking a Sr. Snowflake Data Engineer to join their team in Plano, TX. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing modern data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, DBT, and Snowpipe.
About the Role
As a Sr. Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, implementing automated ingestion pipelines, and ensuring secure data governance. You will also design data warehouse models, optimize performance, and collaborate with analysts and BI developers to deliver clean, reliable datasets for analytics and reporting tools.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of engineering experience in data engineering.
- Strong SQL coding experience, including writing complex SQL from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and implementing Snowpipe for automated data ingestion.
- Proficiency with DBT for transformation and modeling.
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and data processing.
- Experience designing enterprise RBAC security models in Snowflake.
Preferred:
- Experience with modern data stack architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
- Experience with data governance, compliance, and secure data handling.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
