N-able is seeking a Sr. SOC / MDR Incident Manager to join their team in Morrisville, NC. The role involves overseeing the MDR Containment and Incident Handling Teams, ensuring effective incident lifecycle management.
About the Role
As a Sr. SOC / MDR Incident Manager, you will provide strategic oversight for the MDR Containment and Incident Handling Teams, ensuring seamless transitions between activities. You will act as the escalation authority for high-severity incidents, represent the teams in executive briefings, establish SOC-wide standards, and mentor senior leaders. Your role will also involve driving integration of team processes and championing innovation in incident handling methodologies.
About You
Required:
- 12-15 years of progressive SOC, MDR, or DFIR experience.
- Minimum 7 years in leadership roles with proven experience managing multiple teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent leadership-level certifications.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Advanced DFIR certifications (GCFA, GREM, GCIH, or equivalent).
- Expert-level understanding of incident lifecycle and containment strategies.
- Proficiency in SOC toolsets (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR).
