About the Role
As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you will be part of the AI Models and Applications team, responsible for scaling training and inference for the latest Generative AI models. You will propose and apply innovative techniques, implement efficient architectures, collaborate with software and hardware teams, and publish your work within AMD and externally.
About You
Required:
- PhD or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Deep technical understanding of generative AI applications like large language models and experience training models at scale.
Preferred:
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and JAX.
- Experience productizing generative AI models and training foundation models at scale.
- Publications in conferences such as NeuRIPS, CVPR, ICML, etc.
