About the Role
As a Sr. Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing applications using Java and J2EE technologies, implementing standards for AWS deployment, designing scalable software architecture patterns, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also ensure proactive monitoring and observability of systems, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to a multiyear transformational program.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, or any Engineering.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
- 5+ years of software architecture and systems design experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong technical knowledge of AWS relating to application development.
Preferred:
- Experience with AWS Flink.
- Strong software development knowledge.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
