About the Role
As a Sr. System Administrator, you will collaborate with program teams to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions for complex IT infrastructure problems. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining security requirements, and providing documentation and training on advanced IT processes. You will also be required to obtain specific certifications within a set timeframe and may need to work beyond standard hours as systems operate 24/7.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance.
- Experience with Linux or Windows systems, Active Directory, VMware, and backup and recovery.
Preferred:
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification).
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- Experience with data storage technologies (NAS, SAN).
- Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX.
- Scripting experience.
