About the Role
As a Senior Transportation Engineer, you will lead roadway design tasks for highway projects, serve as Engineer of Record on major NCDOT projects, manage multi-discipline engineering design, and mentor junior engineers. You will collaborate with various teams and represent Jacobs at client meetings and public forums.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Active PE license (North Carolina preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum 10 years of transportation engineering experience, including P3/PPP projects.
- Proven experience working with NCDOT or similar transportation agencies.
- Strong understanding of design-build, risk allocation, and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
