As a Staff / Principal Backend Engineer, you will work on new product launches, API-based model services, and infrastructural projects. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify product needs, operate with technical autonomy, and drive system improvements. The role emphasizes quick shipping of features and collaboration with machine learning teams.
About You
Required:
- Excellent programming skills in a statically typed backend language, preferably Go, Kotlin, Java, or Rust.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-based services handling hundreds of queries per second.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with caching systems like Redis or Memcached, and data pipelines.
Preferred:
- Experience with analytics or timeseries databases like ClickHouse or InfluxDB.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with C++.
