About the Role
As a Staff Accountant - Foundation, you will be responsible for general ledger and financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, compliance, and audit support, recommending process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial transactions. You will also support the accounting and reconciliation of philanthropic funds and assist in preparing financial reports.
About You
Required:
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience; non-profit, governmental, or education sector experience required.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tyler Munis, FloQast, Workday) and advanced Excel functionality.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Progress toward CPA, TASBO, or relevant certification preferred.
