BlueVoyant is seeking a Staff Accountant - US to join their team remotely in the United States. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, owning balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and assisting with audit preparation.
About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing month-end close processes, preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and partnering with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also support external audits, streamline accounting workflows, and contribute to the improvement of internal controls.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) and comfort working with large data sets.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Intacct or Oracle ERP.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving organization.
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification.
