About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for participating in the monthly close and reporting process in accordance with GAAP, preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, performing accounting research, tracking budgets to actuals, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, identifying efficiencies, analyzing accounts for trends, facilitating annual audits, and participating in special projects.
About You
Required:
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- 1-4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient with Excel
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution industry
- Self-starter with the desire to learn
