About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will perform various duties associated with cash accounting and general accounting responsibilities, including daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations, preparing standard journal entries, and maintaining the company’s master excel reconciliation workbooks. You will manage daily cash transactions, assist with audits, and communicate cash-related issues to management.
About You
Required:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, including functions like pivot tables and vlookup.
- Ability to reconcile daily and monthly bank reconciliations manually in Excel workbooks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
