About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will lead the preparation of journal entries and accounting support for payroll, benefits, medical, and workers’ compensation during the monthly close. You will analyze and perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, maintain prepaid and accrual accounts, support ERP system integrations, assist with external audit requests, and collaborate with various departments to gather information and approvals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (strongly preferred) or Finance.
- 2+ years of hands-on General Ledger accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, specifically regarding accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
- Proficiency in SAP or a similar Tier-1 ERP system.
- Advanced use of Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume inventory environment.
- Experience with Power Query or building complex data-reconciliation templates.
- Demonstrated ability to perform Variance Analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with non-finance partners.
