About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reconciling monthly financial statements, conducting detailed reviews of accounting and financial reporting, verifying business transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling payroll tax records, calculating and paying business taxes, generating 1099 forms, and performing audits and analyses of expense reports. You will also be involved in budget preparation, reconciliations, and fixed asset reporting.
About You
Required:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of 1 year related corporate financial experience.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information and data skillfully and reach sound conclusions.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated understanding of the business implication of decisions.
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
