About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for understanding internal and client software systems, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing and reviewing income statements, and providing high-level support to internal staff. You will also track deliverables, provide customer service to clients, and prepare corporate and personal tax returns while managing a client workload of 50-70 clients.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or relevant experience of 3+ years.
- Ability to handle numerous responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables).
- Past experience in preparing income returns.
Preferred:
- Experience with Ultra Tax.
