Topline Pro is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves taking ownership of data modeling, organization, and scaling to support the company's operations and decision-making.
About the Role
As a Staff Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining centralized data assets that serve as the source of truth for the company's operational questions. Your tasks will include developing scalable data models in dbt and Snowflake, ensuring accurate modeling of financial data from Stripe, and leading complex BI and analytics projects. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-impact solutions and establish best practices for data management.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, Data Visualization Engineer, or related role.
- Extensive experience in Snowflake and dbt.
- Deep knowledge of advanced SQL concepts, including window functions, CTEs, and nested queries.
- Strong understanding of Stripe data models and how to build reliable analytics from them.
Preferred:
- Experience with Heap or similar product analytics tools.
- Familiarity with RevOps and CX data stacks (HubSpot, Salesloft, Twilio, Dialpad).
- Previous startup or high-growth SaaS experience.
