About the Role
As a Staff Attorney, you will be part of a team delivering legal assistance to pro se litigants at various stages of federal litigation. Responsibilities include providing legal information and advice, assisting with case strategy and document preparation, meeting with litigants, supervising pro bono volunteers, and supporting the Director with administrative tasks.
About You
Required:
- Must be a New York and S.D.N.Y. bar member in good standing with at least two years of federal litigation experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, oral communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in litigating employment and civil rights cases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn LegalServer.
