About the Role
As a Staff Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal engineering teams and external experts to design and implement efficient concrete, steel, and site infrastructure. Your tasks will include coordinating technical requirements, designing systems to support manufacturing processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and building codes. You will also support new site civil designs and provide technical feedback for continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- Background in Civil & Structural Engineering
- Nevada Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 5+ years of engineering/design experience
- Thorough understanding of International Building Code (IBC) 2024 and NFPA codes
- Experience with Autodesk CAD programs (Civil3D, Revit)
- Ability to interpret design drawings such as PFD, GA, and P&ID
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
Preferred:
- Nevada Licensed Structural Professional Engineer (SPE)
- Chemical or Mechanical industry background
- Experience interfacing with Solidworks
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience in technical bid evaluations and project cost estimating
