About the Role
As a Staff Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that general orientation is completed for all employees, conducting job-specific orientation for Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, and developing educational programs based on identified needs. You will also provide mandated training, maintain staff development records, and conduct C.N.A. training programs as required by the facility.
About You
Required:
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school, university, or college of nursing.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Must have at least one (1) year experience in a long-term care facility.
- Must possess an active and unencumbered LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
Preferred:
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
- Possess leadership and supervisory ability.
