About the Role
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, and intervening in the care of patients. You will collaborate with a designated care team, guide team members in patient care activities, and ensure effective communication with patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include conducting nursing assessments, documenting patient progress, planning discharges, and mentoring new staff and students.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing / BSN required for all Clinical RN positions.
- At least one year of acute care RN experience required.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse / RN license (or willingness and eligibility to obtain).
- BLS certification required - American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required - American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice is critical for success.
- Medical / Surgical RN experience - Stepdown/Telemetry/Critical Care preferred.
