Summary
Form Energy is seeking a Staff Process Engineer to join their anode engineering team in Weirton, WV. The role focuses on designing, developing, and scaling manufacturing processes for Iron-Air multi-day batteries.
About the Role
As a Staff Process Engineer, you will translate novel research into efficient manufacturing processes, design experimental trials, optimize key process inputs, analyze data, and present technical reports. You will collaborate with the Manufacturing Equipment Team, commission new processes, perform capability studies, drive continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience with process engineering in a pilot line or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis (JMP or Minitab), and structured problem solving.
Preferred:
- Experience with powder processing, thermal treatments, welding, or metallurgical systems.
- Track record of scaling processes from concept to production.
