About the Role

As a Staff Radiographer, you will assess physician orders for radiological examinations, evaluate patient requests, advise on radiation safety, educate patients about procedures, position patients for imaging, and maintain medical records. You will also perform quality analysis of radiographic images and adhere to research protocols while ensuring compliance with departmental and hospital standards.

About You

Required:

Graduation from an accredited Radiography program with competencies in evaluating and caring for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
Active license with Illinois Emergency Management Administration.
CPR - Basic Life Support certification.
Associates Degree in Applied Science, Radiography or Certificate of Completion from a Radiography Program.

Preferred:

Three to five years of experience in Radiography at a healthcare institution.
Extensive computer knowledge.
Experience with clinical research.
Familiarity with radiation safety and related procedures.
