About the Role
As a Staff RN in the Float Critical Care team, you will work within the pediatric intensive care unit and cardiovascular intensive care unit, providing care to children with various acute and chronic illnesses. You will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process, performing independent nursing functions, and collaborating with other health team members to ensure high-quality care. The position also allows for skill expansion into other areas such as the emergency department and post-anesthesia care unit.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Minnesota RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or obtained during orientation.
Preferred:
- Experience in pediatric nursing or critical care settings.
- Additional certifications relevant to the critical care environment.
