E-Space is seeking a Staff Satellite FPGA Engineer (Digital Logic) to join their team in Saratoga, CA. The role involves developing and testing avionics FPGA RTL designs for E-Space satellites.
About the Role
As a Staff Satellite FPGA Engineer, you will own FPGA RTL development from concept to flight, develop logical architecture and requirements, create RTL code for Microsemi FPGAs, perform design verification, lead design reviews, and participate in various test campaigns.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in FPGA RTL architecture, development, verification, deployment, and maintenance.
- Skilled at SystemVerilog or VHDL.
- Skilled in at least 1 scripting language (TCL, shell, Python, etc).
- Proficiency in understanding PCB designs and reading schematics.
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience designing for space environments including radiation impacts and mitigation.
- Proficiency with Microsemi devices and tools.
- Familiarity with SystemRDL.
- Understanding of OVM/UVM framework and methodology.
