Summary
ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Security & Compliance Engineer for their M365 GCCH/CMMC team in San Diego, CA. The role involves leading the technical design, implementation, and ongoing security operations of a Microsoft 365 GCC High environment supporting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
About the Role
As a Staff Security & Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and evidencing compliance with CMMC Level 2, DFARS 7012, and NIST 800-171 controls. You will lead the design and deployment of the GCC High tenant, define secure architecture, and ensure audit readiness for certification by May 2026. Your role will also include managing security operations, vulnerability remediation, and providing cross-functional leadership within the organization.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) required for GCC High/CUI access.
- 6–10+ years of Microsoft 365/Azure security engineering experience.
- Hands-on implementation of GCC High or FedRAMP/DoD environments.
- Direct experience with CMMC or NIST 800-171 control implementation.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
Preferred:
- CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, MS-102.
- Experience in a Gov/DoD contracting environment.
